Herbert Pansi

Herbert Pansi (born March 8, 1920 in St. Vinzenz, Lavamünd municipality in Carinthia , † April 20, 1988 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).


Herbert Pansi learned the profession of forest worker . From 1955 to 1971 he was President of the Chamber of Agriculture for Carinthia, from 1961 chairman of the union of workers in agriculture and forestry .

Pansi was a member of the Carinthian state parliament (1956–1963) and a member of the Federal Council (1963–1964). From 1964 to 1979 he was a member of the National Council , and in 1979 he was also the third president of the National Council .
