Hermann I. (Lorraine)

Hermann I called Pusillus (as much as the small, the weak, the tender; † 996 ) was from about 985 Count Palatine of Lorraine ; In addition, he was the owner of a number of counties along the Rhine, including the Bonngau (970, 992, 993), the Eifelgau (975, 978), the Zülpichgau (991) and the Auelgau (996). He was also a count in Gerresheim (976), d. H. in the Duisburg-Kaiserswerther county . Hermann was the son of Erenfried II from the Ezzonen and Richwara family. He married Heylwig from the family of St. Ulrich , Bishop of Augsburg .
