Hermann Krause (politician, 1908)

Hermann Krause (born August 13, 1908 in Hanau ; † February 15, 1988 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ), mayor of Hanau and member of the Hessian state parliament .

After graduating from high school in Hanau , Hermann Krause studied law at the Universities of Königsberg , Berlin and Frankfurt am Main from 1927 to 1930 . In 1933 he became a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 2.665.611). He was also a member of the SA . After graduating as Dr. jur. he worked from 1935 to 1945 at the Evangelical Consistory Königsberg as senior consistorial councilor.

After the expulsion, Hermann Krause returned to Hanau in 1945 and was provisional mayor there from June 11, 1945 to July 5, 1945 and from April 25, 1946 to July 18, 1946. From 1945 to 1966 he was mayor and treasurer of the city. From 1953 to 1965 he was a member of the Association Assembly of the State Welfare Association . From December 1, 1954 to November 30, 1970, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for four electoral terms. In 1959 he was a member of the third federal assembly .

Hermann Krause was state chairman of the house and landowners association and a member of the administrative committee of the state welfare association of Hesse.

Hermann Krause is buried in the main cemetery in Hanau .
