Hermann Pogge

Hermann Pogge , with the addition of property names also Pogge-Striesenow , Pogge-Pölitz or Pogge-Roggow (born May 28, 1831 in Striesenow , † December 6, 1900 in Roggow ) was a member of the Reichstag .

Life

Hermann Pogge was born as the younger son of the manor owner Johann Pogge (1793–1854) and his wife Luise nee. Behm (1799–1882), born. He attended grammar school in Neubrandenburg , studied from 1850 to 1852 in Göttingen and Berlin and was the owner of a manor on Roggow near Lalendorf in Mecklenburg-Schwerin . From 1851 he was a member of the Corps Bremensia Göttingen .

From 1871 to 1878 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party and the constituency of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 4 ( Malchin - Waren ).

Franz Pogge , also a member of the Reichstag, was his brother.
