Hermann Rosenstein

Hermann Rosenstein (born April 7, 1893 in Wiesbaden , † February 10, 1960 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Hermann Rosenstein attended high school and graduated from high school . He studied history for a few semesters and was a soldier in World War I from 1914 . After the war he did a commercial apprenticeship as a banker and in 1925 became an independent businessman in Wiesbaden and Berlin. After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists , Rosenstein took part in the "Silent Front" resistance group from 1933 onwards .

After the Second World War , Rosenstein joined the CDU in 1945. In the first Berlin election in 1946 , he was elected to the district assembly in the Charlottenburg district. In the 1950 election he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he belonged until his death.

From 1953 to 1959 Rosenstein was chairman of the CDU Charlottenburg.
