Hermann Wagner (politician)

Hermann Wagner (born April 30, 1855 in Calw ; † November 20, 1941 there ) was an entrepreneur and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wagner attended the secondary school in Calw from 1864 to 1869 and the upper secondary school in Esslingen until 1871. From 1871 to 1874 he completed a commercial apprenticeship in Esslingen and from 1875 to 1878 he went to Hamburg and Marseille for further training . Then he was in his father's business, United Blanket Factory Calw, Zoeppritz, Wagner & Co KG, which he took over in 1881 with a brother and brother-in-law. The company existed under the name of Calwer ceiling and cloth factories until 1997. He was a one-year volunteer from 1874-75 with the 3rd Württemberg Infantry Regiment No. 121 . He was also a councilor in Calw.

From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Kingdom of Württemberg 8 Freudenstadt , Horb , Oberndorf , Sulz and the German People's Party .
