Hermann Werner von Bossart

Hermann Werner von Bossart (born April 15, 1695 in Bielefeld ; † April 6, 1762 ) was a priest and imperial diplomat .

Hermann Werner von Bossart was the son of a Paderborn privy councilor , canon to St. Gereon (Cologne) and provost to St. Andreas (Cologne) . As an Austrian Habsburg resident in the Electorate of Cologne, he came to the Cologne Cathedral Chapter on March 26, 1754 , where he succeeded Tilmann Joseph Godesberg .

Proven in the political field, he was an observer, reporter and negotiator for the emperor for decades .
