Hermann vom Rath
Hermann Kaspar vom Rath (born April 9, 1818 in Elberfeld (now part of Wuppertal ), † April 23, 1890 at Lauersfort Castle ) was a Prussian manor owner and member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation .
origin
His parents were Johann Peter vom Rath (baptized October 4, 1792; † March 31, 1861) and his second wife Juliane Feldhoff (* March 28, 1798; † December 21, 1856). The Rath family was raised to the Prussian nobility on October 15, 1840.
Life
Hermann vom Rath was the owner of the Lauersfort manor near Moers . In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Düsseldorf 7 ( Moers , Rees ) and the Old Liberal Center. In 1872 King Wilhelm I appointed him to the Prussian mansion out of the utmost confidence .
He was a member of the Krefeld Masonic Lodge Eos .
