Hermann Freiherr von Salza und Lichtenau (born October 22, 1829 in Dresden , † April 14, 1915 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer and manor owner in the Kingdom of Saxony. He sat in the Reichstag of the North German Confederation.

Life

Salza studied law at the University of Leipzig . In 1850 he became a member of the Corps Misnia Leipzig . From 1854 he worked in the Saxon civil service. In 1860 he was Councilor in the District Directorate of Dresden and 1862 Amtshauptmann the Amtshauptmannschaft Bautzen . From 1861 he was a member of the Lusatian Estates Assembly and represented the manor owners of Upper Lusatia in the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament from 1866–1868 (1831–1918) . For the Free Conservative Association he represented the constituency Kingdom of Saxony 3 from February 1867 until the Reichstag election in 1871 (Bautzen , Kamenz , Bischofswerda ) in the Reichstag (North German Confederation) and in the customs parliament . From 1883 to 1895 he was District Chief in Bautzen. In 1895 he was appointed President of the Chamber of Accounts as successor to Bernhard von Schönberg . Furthermore, he was real. Go Councilor and manor owner on Jeßnitz , later on Wuischke . In 1895 he was made an honorary citizen of the cities of Bautzen, Kamenz, Löbau , Neusalza and Zittau .
