Heroes of the Pacific

The player takes on the role of the United States Navy pilot William Crowe. This takes part in all major battles of the USA in the Pacific War. In the menu you can choose between campaign, quick start, missions, flight training, multiplayer, historical and the game options. Two players can compete against each other. Up to eight players can compete against each other with a network adapter or multiplayer adapter for the Playstation 2 or via Xbox Live . The player can choose between the arcade and professional control modes. The difficulty levels recruit , pilot , veteran and ace are available. Due to a high level of difficulty and by completing secondary tasks in the main missions, upgrade points can be achieved, which are used to upgrade and modernize the aircraft.

Campaign or individual missions (there are ten theaters of war in the Pacific with a total of 26 missions):

Pearl Harbor (1 mission); Wake Island (3 missions); Marshall Islands (2 missions); Coral Sea (2 missions); Midway (4 missions); Guadalcanal (3 missions); Gilbert Islands (2 missions); Marianas (2 missions); Philippines (4 missions); Iwo Jima (3 missions)

Flight training : learn to fly , advanced flight and combat , wingman training , dive combat training and torpedo training

Historical (five special missions that are closely related to real war events and must first be unlocked in campaign mode): Against any chance , Flight of the Avanger , Chain Lightning , Zeros over Rabaul and Escape over Rabaul

Planes

There are four different types of aircraft: fighters , dive bombers , torpedo bombers , and bombers . After the campaign has been successfully completed, the Japanese aircraft will also be available.
