course
On the way down the valley from its source on the north slope of Mont Agnis south of the municipality of Mazaugues, the Caramy crosses the Caramy Gorge named after it in the north of the Massif de la Sainte-Baume . In the plain he reaches the municipality of Tourves , where a Roman bridge crosses the river. On its further way, the water meanders through the wide, wine-growing plain of Brignoles . Near Carcès, the Issole flows into the river that now feeds the Lac de Carcès, a reservoir that was built in 1936 to supply Toulon with water . The Caramy flows into the Argens just a few kilometers below the barrage.
