action

Former racing driver Pino Scalise, who was convicted of armed robbery, is released early from a Sicilian prison for good conduct. First of all, he moves in with his uncle Nicola, who lives in Milan , who got him a job at the Alicanti company that makes artificial flowers. Nicolas daughter Teresa lives with him, Marina, his second daughter, makes herself rare. With his first money, which Pino receives from his uncle, he first goes to the street after years of abstinence. There he meets his former cellmate Nosy, who now works as a pimp . Pino rejects Nosey's attempt to recruit him for his boss Don Chicco, because he doesn't want to risk going to prison again, and has also decided not to commit criminal offenses. Nosey takes Pino to the brothel where Fiorella works and whose pimp he is. Pino gets along very well with the young woman not only sexually from the start.

The next day, while sitting at lunch, Nicolas' daughter Marina suddenly appears, in whom Pino, to his great surprise, recognizes "his" Fiorella. From now on he endeavors to get her out of the brothel. However, this is more difficult than he thinks, Nosy cannot and does not want to help him. Firstly, the young woman brings in a lot of money, secondly, he is under the organization of Don Chicco, who has the last word. He not only lets prostitutes work for him, but is also the largest drug dealer in town. He has plans of his own for Fiorella-Marina. He has the young woman taken to the basement of his villa and pumps heroin full of heroin to use as leverage. He hopes to be able to get Pino to chauffeur heroin-coated artificial flowers to Holland after having previously worked as a getaway driver in a bank robbery. In order to have another trump card in hand, he lets his henchman Dominò kidnap Teresa.

And finally, Commissario Morani's wish comes true that Pino, whom he has never lost sight of, works with the police. With his help he would like to finally put Don Chicco down. Pino agrees for various reasons, but above all because he hopes that it will be possible to make the drug lord disappear from the scene so that Fiorella-Marina is free. According to his wishes, he takes over the ride with the artificial flowers prepared with heroin. Before the car can cross the border, in cooperation with the police, it comes to the fact that it is stopped and now finally a handle is given to blow up Don Chicco and his prostitute and drug ring.

criticism

The lexicon of international films described the film as "a popular mix of crime thriller and melodrama with actors acting like wood".

Italo-Cinema.de was of the opinion that “Director Gianni Martucci was really not a big hit, because the screenplay seemed quite straightforward and almost too simple and the majority of the cast remained far behind their possibilities [e] ] ". For genre lovers, however, it should be “worth a look” despite the resources being given away.
