Oettingen court on the other side of the Wörnitz

The rulership court of Oettingen on the other side of the Wörnitz was a rulership court of the Counts of Oettingen-Spielberg zu Oettingen . It existed from 1818 to 1823 and belonged to the Rezatkreis . In 1823 it was incorporated into the newly founded Oettingen City and Lordship Court.

The rulership court bordered the Oettingen court on this side of the Wörnitz in the north . Both rulership courts were largely enclosed by the district court Nördlingen , only in the east the rulership court bordered the district courts Heidenheim and Wassertrüdingen .

The ruling court was divided into four tax districts, which were administered by the Oettingen Rent Office:

In 1818 there were four rural communities in the Oettingen court on the other side of the Wörnitz:

  • Auhausen (the place itself belonged to the district court Wassertrüdingen) with Heuhof, Pfeifhof, Wachfeld and Zirndorf
  • Hainsfarth with Aumühle, Fürfallmühle, Hefehof and Wornfeld
  • Megesheim with Lerchenbühl, Mäuskreut and Unterappenberg
  • Schwörsheim with Haid

There were a total of 4856 inhabitants, who were divided into 1128 families and lived in 949 properties.
