Wassertrüdingen district court

The district court Wassertrüdingen was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1808 to 1879 and was based in Wassertrüdingen in what is now the district of Ansbach . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1808 the district court Wassertrüdingen was established in the course of the administrative reorganization of Bavaria . This came first to the Altmühlkreis , from 1810 to the Oberdonaukreis and from 1817 to the Rezatkreis , which was renamed Middle Franconia in 1838 .

The Wassertrüdingen regional court bordered the Herrieden regional court in the north, the Gunzenhausen regional court in the north- west, the Heidenheim regional court in the west and the Mönchsroth and Dinkelsbühl regional court in the east, and the Oettingen city and regional court in the south .

The district court was divided into 13 tax districts, which were administered by the Wassertrüdingen Rent Office:

In 1818 there were 12,042 residents in the Wassertrüdingen district court, who were divided into 2,858 families and lived in 2,192 properties.

The community of Stöckau was again incorporated into Oberkemmathen in 1823.

In 1846 the district court Wassertrüdingen was 3 square miles . There were 12199 inhabitants. There were 70 localities (1 town, 14 parish villages , 4 parish villages , 10 villages , 13 hamlets and 28 wastelands ) and 25 parishes (1 magistrate 3rd class and 24 rural parishes).

In 1850, with the dissolution of the Mönchsroth court and police authority (formerly Mönchsroth rulership), the communities of Aufkirchen , Fürnheim , Irsingen and Reichenbach were added.
