Ehrenschenken is a part of the municipality Ehingen in the district of Ansbach , Middle Franconia .
geography
The hamlet is located in a forest clearing on Moosgraben, which is here designated as a nature reserve and is a left tributary of the Lentersheimer Mühlbach , which in turn is a left tributary of the Wörnitz . Approx. The Grillenbuck ( 463 m above sea level ) is 250 meters to the southwest . In the north, beyond the Moosgraben, lies the Haidholz. A communal road leads to Lentersheim to state road 2248 (3.5 km southeast) or the district road AN 49 crossing to Brunn (0.8 km northwest).
history
The High Court exercised the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . The village and township government had the box office Wassertrüdingen held. Towards the end of the 18th century there were 5 properties and a community shepherd's house together with Brunn . The landlords were Ansbach offices ( box office Hohentrüdingen : 1 yard; box office Wassertrüdingen: 2 half yards, 1 Söldengut ) and the Eichstätt monastery ( box office Ornbau : 1 estate). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .
As a result of the community edict, loss of honor was assigned to the tax district and rural community of Beyerberg formed in 1809 . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , Ehrenschrecken was incorporated into Ehingen on July 1, 1972.
