Brunn is a part of the municipality Ehingen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria ).

The hamlet is located in a forest clearing on the Moosgraben flowing past to the north, which feeds the Upper and Lower Brunnweiher and is a left tributary of the Lentersheimer Mühlbach , which in turn is a left tributary of the Wörnitz . To the west of the village is the Höflesweiher. A community road leads to Friedrichsthal (1.5 km to the west) or the district road AN 49 crosses to Ehrenschrecken (0.7 km to the south-east).

history

The high court exercised the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . The village and township government had the box office Wassertrüdingen held. Towards the end of the 18th century there were 5 properties and a community shepherd's house in Brunn, together with shredded honor . The landlords were the Waizendorf administration office (2 half yards, 1 Söldengut ) and the caste office Wassertrüdingen (2 half yards). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

As a result of the community Edict Brunn was 1809 the control district and Rural community Beyer Berg assigned. As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Brunn was incorporated into Ehingen on July 1, 1972.
