The Wassertrüdinger Kreis was one of six districts in the Principality of Ansbach under Prussian administration with its seat in Wassertrüdingen .

history

The Wassertrüdinger Kreis existed from 1797 to 1806. The district authority was called Kreisdirektorium. It was formed from the head offices of Wassertrüdingen and Hohentrüdingen . Justice and administration were separated. The sub-authorities were the justice offices of Heidenheim, Wassertrüdingen, the chamber offices of Heidenheim, Wassertrüdingen and the Wassertrüdingen magistrate. The authorities were initially taken over by the new Kingdom of Bavaria , but on October 1, 1808, they were repealed. The Wassertrüdingen and Heidenheim regional courts were created in their place and were responsible for both administration and justice. Enhofen came to the regional court of Ellingen , Eßlingen, Siebeneichhöfe and Solnhofen to the regional court of Monheim .
