Weißhaus is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The wasteland is about two and a half kilometers east of the city center of Dinkelsbühl, about halfway between the eastern outskirts and the Botzenweiler district , a few steps north of State Road 2218. The place is almost completely surrounded by ponds. Most of them, including the largest, the Weißhausweiher on the other side of the state road, are fed by the oil ditch, which flows into the Wörnitz in the southeast near Lohmühle near Neustädtlein as a left tributary , accompanied by a dense chain of still waters from the direction of Karlsholz in the northeast.
history
Weißhaus was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . Towards the end of the 18th century there was a subject family who owned the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl as their landlord . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .
With the community edict (early 19th century), the place was assigned to the tax district and the municipality of Dinkelsbühl.
A common name for the hamlet from 1830 to 1840 was "The White House".
