Gaismühle is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Walkenweiherbach, a right tributary of the Wörnitz , which feeds the Gaisweiher immediately to the west of the village and the Walkweiher to the east. This pond landscape is designated as a nature reserve . The Gaisfeld lies in the northwest, the Hoffeld in the east. In the north, new development areas border the city of Dinkelsbühl. The district road AN 45 / K 3222 leads to Dinkelsbühl to state road 2220 (0.7 km north-west) or to Dürrenstetten (2.5 km south).

history

At the time of the Old Kingdom , Gaismühle was in the Fraisch district of the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . This was also the landlord of the mill.

In 1809, as a result of the municipal edict, Gaismühle was assigned to the tax district and the municipality of Dinkelsbühl.
