Weidelbach is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The parish village is located on the Zwergwörnitz, a right tributary of the Wörnitz , and on the Veitsgraben, which flows into the village as a right tributary into the Zwergwörnitz. The place is surrounded by arable land and grassland with a few trees. In the southwest the corridor is called Veitlein. Approx. The Hirschberg rises 1 km to the north ( 494  m above sea level ).

history

Weidelbach was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 28 properties and a church, a rectory, a schoolhouse, a subordinate's apartment for the Teutonic Order, a tithe barn for the Teutonic Order and a shepherd's house. The village and township government had the German Order held. Landlords of the German orders were (six yards, a Gütlein with economy, a Gütlein with blacksmiths, two Gütlein with back right to two mills, eleven Gütlein), the Oettingen-game bergische Oberamt Dürrwangen (a Gütlein) and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (one yard, three Goods). The situation remained unchanged towards the end of the 18th century. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) the tax district Weidelbach was formed, to which the places Burgstall , Esbach , Ketschenweiler , Neumühle , Oberradach , Pulvermühle , Rauenstadt , Reuenthal , Röthendorf , Rothhof , Steineweiler , Unterradach , Veitswend , Waldeck , Waldhäuslein and Zwernberg belonged. A little later, the rural community Weidelbach was formed with Neumühle, Reuenthal, Röthendorf and Veitswend . It was subordinate to the Dinkelsbühl regional court in terms of administration and jurisdiction . In 1961 the municipality had an area of ​​7.430 km². As part of the regional reform , it was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl on May 1, 1978.

  • House No. 21: two-storey, simpler farmhouse from the late 17th / 18th centuries. Century. Eastern half-timbered gable front, the plastered coat of arms of the Teutonic Order, inscribed in 1751 by Georg Michael Engelhart .
