Wolfertsbronn is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .
geography
The village lies on the Wolfertsbronner Bach, a left tributary of the Rotach , which in turn flows into the Wörnitz from the right . The place is immediately surrounded by arable land and grassland. In the northwest the field is called Lausfeld, in the south Stockfeld. In the north is the Eichelberg hill, in the northeast Kühberg, in the southeast Taubberg and in the southwest Frauenberg.
history
With the community edict (early 19th century), the rural community Wolfertsbronn was formed, to which the places Hohenschwärz , Holzapfelshof , Oberwinstetten , Unterwinstetten belonged. It was subordinate to the Dinkelsbühl regional court in terms of administration and jurisdiction . In 1961 the municipality had an area of 6.351 km². In the course of the regional reform it was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl on January 1, 1971.
Architectural monuments
- House No. 26: Residential part of a former stable house, ground-floor plastered building with a gable roof, after 1826.
- Stable house, ground-floor saddle roof construction partly with half-timbering, in the core 18th century, barn extension after 1826.
- Way of the Cross: Atonement crosses, two late medieval sandstone crosses, heavily weathered; 200 m north at the fork in the road.

The State Road 2220 / State Road 2220 runs northeast past Segringen to Dinkelsbühl or southwest past the Heringssägmühle to State Road 1070 . Municipal roads lead to Schönbronn , to the district road AN 44 near Oberhard and to Oberwinstetten .
