history

The Fraisch over Oberradach was disputed between the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen , the Oberamt Dürrwangen in Oettingen- Spielberg and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The village and township government had the box office Feuchtwangen held. The place formed a real municipality with Steineweiler and Unterradach .

In 1732 there were 13 properties and 1 shepherd's house in Ober- and Unterradach. The landlords were the box office Feuchtwangen (1 property), the monastery administrator's office Auhausen (1 tavern with customs office, 5 properties), the box office Crailsheim (1 shop in Unterradach), the German Order (1 property), the Oberamt Mönchsroth of the county of Oettingen-Oettingen , at the time already sold to von Schell (1 Gütlein) and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (3 properties).

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 11 properties and 1 community shepherd's house in Oberradach. The landlords were the monastery administrator in Auhausen (2 half yards, 1 three- eighth farm with commercial and brewing rights, 1 half fiefdom, 2 Viertelhoflehengütlein, 1 fiefdom with blacksmithing rights, 1 Söldenhaus ), the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (hospital: 1 estate; the dinkelsbühler citizen Bühlmeyer: 1 Hofgut) and the Ämtlein Weidelbach of the Teutonic Order (1 yard). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

In 1806 Oberradach came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As a result of the community edict, Oberradach was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Weidelbach in 1809 . With the second community edict (1818), the rural community Oberradach was formed, to which Steineweiler and Unterradach belonged. It was subordinate to the Dinkelsbühl regional court in terms of administration and jurisdiction and to the Dinkelsbühl tax office ( renamed Dinkelsbühl tax office in 1919 , Ansbach tax office since 1973 ). The jurisdiction remained with the District Court of Dinkelsbühl until 1879, from 1879 to 1973 the District Court of Dinkelsbühl was responsible, which has been a branch of the District Court of Ansbach since 1973 . The administration was taken over by the newly created Dinkelsbühl district office in 1862 (renamed the Dinkelsbühl district in 1938 ). In 1961 the municipality had an area of 3.519 km². In the course of the territorial reform , this was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl on April 1, 1971. With the dissolution of the Dinkelsbühl district in 1972, Oberradach came to the Ansbach district.
