Nonsensical mill (also called oil mill ) is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Lohwassergraben, which feeds the Ölweiher immediately to the east and flows into the Wörnitz as a left tributary 200 meters further west .

history

Nonsensical mill was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . They had the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl as landlord . Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

With the community edict (early 19th century), the place was assigned to the tax district and the municipal community of Dinkelsbühl.

When the oil miller Lorenz Mack went bankrupt, the judiciary made two attempts to auction the property (1814 and 1828). At that time there was a one-story house, a barn and the mill on the property.
