Oberwinstetten is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet and the Egert corridor are located on a hill that drops to the west into the valley of the Wolfertsbronner Bach, a left tributary of the Rotach , and drops to the north near Kesselholz into the valley of the Kesselgraben. In the south-west is the Brand forest area, in the south-east are the church and bat wood. A community road leads to Wolfertsbronn to State Road 2220 (1.6 km northwest) or Unterwinstetten (0.5 km east).

history

The Fraisch over Oberwinstetten was disputed between the Oettingen-Spielberg Oberamt Mönchsroth and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The imperial city of Dinkelsbühl ruled the village and community . The place formed a real community with Unterwinstetten . Towards the end of the 18th century there were 4 estates and 1 community shepherd's house. The landlord of all properties was the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (Dreikönigspflege: 2 half estates; council administration: 2 half estates).

In 1809 Oberwinstetten was assigned to the tax district Segringen and the rural community Wolfertsbronn as a result of the municipal edict . On January 1, 1971, Oberwinstetten was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
