history

The Fraisch over Langensteinbach was disputed between the Oettingen-Spielberg Oberamt Mönchsroth and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The imperial city of Dinkelsbühl ruled the village and community . Towards the end of the 18th century there were 21 properties and 1 community pastor's house. The landlords were the Oberamt Dürrwangen in Oettingen-Spielberg (1 half yard) and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (Protestant church maintenance: 1 estate; council administration: 2 estates; imperial alms maintenance: 2 half estate, 2 estate; sick maintenance: 4 half estate, 1 estate, 4 half estate, 4 goodies)

In 1806 Langensteinbach came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . With the community edict, Langensteinbach was assigned to the tax district Segringen and the rural community Wolfertsbronn in 1809 . With the second community edict (1818) the rural community Langensteinbach was formed. It was subordinate to the Dinkelsbühl regional court in terms of administration and jurisdiction and to the Dinkelsbühl tax office ( renamed Dinkelsbühl tax office in 1919 , Ansbach tax office since 1973 ). The jurisdiction remained with the District Court of Dinkelsbühl until 1879, from 1879 to 1973 the District Court of Dinkelsbühl was responsible, which has been a branch of the District Court of Ansbach since 1973 . The administration was taken over by the newly created Dinkelsbühl district office in 1862 (renamed the Dinkelsbühl district in 1938 ). In 1961 the municipality had an area of 3,348 km². In the course of the territorial reform , this was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl on January 1, 1971. With the dissolution of the district of Dinkelsbühl in 1972, Langensteinbach came to the district of Ansbach.
