Unterradach is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is located on the Gabelgrundbach (called Hausertsmühlbach in the lower reaches), which is a left tributary of the Walkenweiherbach, which in turn is a right tributary of the Wörnitz , and on the Egelweihergraben, which flows into the village as the left tributary of the Gabelgrundbach. In the south lies the winter wood, in the west the stockpile field and in the north-west the merchant wood. The state road 2218 leading to stones Weiler (1.5 km north-west) and after Seidel village (2.2 km south-east). A community road leads to Oberradach (0.6 km east).

history

The Fraisch over Unterradach was disputed between the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen , the Oberamt Mönchsroth in Oettingen- Spielberg and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The village and township government had the box office Feuchtwangen held. The place formed a real municipality with Steineweiler and Oberradach .

In 1732 there were 13 properties and a community shepherd's house in Ober- and Unterradach. The landlords were the box office Feuchtwangen (1 property), the monastery administrator's office Auhausen (1 tavern with customs office, 5 properties), the box office Crailsheim (1 shop in Unterradach), the German Order (1 property), the Oberamt Mönchsroth of the county of Oettingen-Oettingen , at the time already sold to von Schell (1 Gütlein) and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (3 properties).

At the end of the 18th century there were 4 properties in Unterradach. The landlords were the Kastenamt Crailsheim (2 half estates), the Oberamt Mönchsroth (1 yard) and the hospital of the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (1 estate). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

In 1809 Unterradach was assigned to the tax district and the rural community Weidelbach as a result of the municipal edict . With the second community edict (1818), the place was transferred to the newly formed rural community of Oberradach . On April 1, 1971, Unterradach was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
