history
The Fraisch over Karlsholz was disputed between the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen , the Oettingen-Spielberg Oberamt Dürrwangen and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The imperial city of Dinkelsbühl ruled the village and community . By the end of the 18th century there were 5 properties. The sole landlord was the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (Catholic church maintenance: 2 half yards; hospital: 1 yard, 2 half yards). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .
In 1809 Karlsholz was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Sinbronn with the municipal edict . On May 1, 1978, Karlsholz was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
