Untermeißling is a district of the large district town of Dinkelsbühl in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is located on the Hinterwiesengraben, which flows 0.75 km further southeast over the Mühlweiher as a left tributary into the Mühlgraben (called Walkenweiherbach in the lower reaches), which in turn is a right tributary of the Wörnitz . In the northeast is the Lach corridor area, which is used as a golf course, and the Hirtenhölzle forest area in the west. A communal road leads to Hausertshof (1 km southeast) or to Obermeißling (0.6 km northwest).

history

The Fraisch over Untermeißling was disputed between the Ansbach Oberamt Crailsheim , the Oettingen-Spielberg Oberamt Mönchsroth and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The village and township government has held the top office Mönchsroth. The place formed a real community with Obermeißling . Towards the end of the 18th century there were 4 properties and 1 community shepherd's house in Untermeißling. The landlord of all properties was the hospital in the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (2 courtyards, 2 estates). From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Crailsheim .

In 1809 Untermeißling was assigned to the tax district Segringen and the rural community Seidelsdorf as a result of the municipal edict . On July 1, 1970, Untermeißling was incorporated into Dinkelsbühl as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
