Obere Blosenmühle is a district of the community of Meinheim in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The desert is at a height of around 427 meters above sea level and has 6 inhabitants (as of 1987).
Obere Blosenmühle is located in the Altmühltal, surrounded by meadows and fields, not far east of Meinheim. A road connects the wasteland with the nearby State Road 2230 . The place used to be on the Meinheimer Mühlbach , a tributary of the Altmühl, which now runs a little further north . The mill building from the 18th century was registered by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation under the number D-5-77-150-9 as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.
In 1846 there was one house, one family and nine souls in Obere Blosenmühle . In 1875 the five residents of the Obere Blosenmühle lived in three buildings. They owned a total of three horses and 13 head of cattle. Even before the municipal reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Obere Blosenmühle was a district of Meinheim.
