Paper mill is a district of the community Meinheim in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The desert is at an altitude of around 500 meters above  sea ​​level and is uninhabited (as of 1987).

The place is located on the edge of the forest at the foot of the Dürrenberg in the Hahnenkamm southwest of Meinheim and 700 m west of Wolfsbronn . With its former mill site, it is located on the Wolfsbronner Mühlbach , a tributary of the Meinheimer Mühlbach . Its two sources are nearby. A dirt road connects the place with Wolfsbronn and the district road WUG 34 . The place is located in a protected landscape area and close to a fauna and flora habitat . All buildings of the paper mill have been registered by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation under the numbers D-5-77-150-13 and D-5-77-150-12 as architectural monuments in the Bavarian list of monuments.

In 1846, the paper mill had a house, two families, and fourteen  souls . In 1875 the nine residents lived in four buildings. They owned a total of two horses and six head of cattle. Before the municipal reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, paper mill was a district of Wolfsbronn.
