Burgstallmühle is a district of the market Bechhofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the right bank of the Wieseth . In the south there is the forest area Ellenbach, approx. 0.25 km east there is a nature reserve . A community road leads to Voggendorf to the district road AN 57 (0.4 km north) or to Heinersdorf to the state road 2221 (1.3 km west).

history

Burgstallmühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . Towards the end of the 18th century, the place consisted of a property. The landlord was the Ansbach administration office Waizendorf was. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

As a result of the community edict, Burgstallmühle was assigned to the tax district and rural community of Unterkönigshofen , formed in 1809 . In 1818 it was reorganized into the newly formed rural community of Birkach ( renamed after Heinersdorf in 1870 ). In the course of regional reform in Bavaria , Burgstallmühle was incorporated into Bechhofen on July 1, 1971.

  • House No. 1: mill building, two-storey massive saddle roof construction, 18th / 19th centuries Century; located on the Wieseth. The mill was built in 1729 by Hans Adam Härtlein as a grinding mill with two grinding aisles and was used as a mill until 1998.

The place has been Protestant since the Reformation. The residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish to St. Blasius (Arberg) , the residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination to St. Johannis (Bechhofen) .
