Kallert is a district of the market Bechhofen in the district of Ansbach ( Bavaria ).

geography

The hamlet is located on a plateau that slopes north into the Altmühltal . The place is immediately surrounded by arable land, grassland and smaller forest areas. In the southwest the field is called Fürstenfeld, in the southeast Eisen. Approx. 0.75 km to the west is the Esbach forest, and about 0.75 km east of the Burgerwald.

A community connecting road leads to Kaudorf (1.2 km south) or to a community connecting road (1 km north) that runs to Sauerbach (0.9 km west) or Thann to the district road AN 55 (2 km south-east).

history

Kallert was in the Fraisch district of the Eichstättischen Oberamt Wahrberg-Herrieden . At the end of the 18th century the place consisted of four properties. The Herrieden caste office held the village and community rulership as well as the lordship over all properties .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Kallert was assigned to the tax district Sachsbach and the rural community Kaudorf . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , Kallert was incorporated into Bechhofen on July 1, 1971.

The place has been Protestant since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination belong to the parish of St. Peter (Thann) , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish to St. Laurentius (Großenried) .
