Weihermühle is a district of the market Bechhofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

Immediately southwest of the wasteland is the Weihermühleweiher and the Krummweiher, which was made into a bathing pond. The ponds are fed by the Mühlgraben, which is a right tributary of the Wieseth . The Pfaffenholz borders in the south. The Geißbühl also rises there (approx. 452  m above sea level ). The district road AN 54 leads to Birkach (1.1 km east) or to Königshofen to state road 2220 (0.9 km north-west).

history

Weihermühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . Towards the end of the 18th century, the place consisted of a property. The landlord was the Waizendorf administration office . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

As a result of the community edict, Weihermühle was assigned to the tax district and rural community of Unterkönigshofen , which was formed in 1809 . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria Weihermühle was incorporated into Bechhofen on July 1, 1971.
