Rangenmühle (Bechhofen)

Rangenmühle was a district of Sachsbach . Today it is a desert in the municipality of Markt Bechhofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

Rangenmühle was a wasteland consisting of a mill and three outbuildings and was at an altitude of 449  m above sea level. NHN . It was located on the Esbach , a right upper course of the Hechelschutzbach , which is a right tributary of the Altmühl . The property only included 2.5  hectares of arable land and grassland directly adjacent to the northwest. The remaining areas were given to other owners. In the west the corridor was called Henenäcker , in the northeast Humelfeld and in the east Steinäcker . A dirt road leads to Reichenau (0.3 km southeast).

history

Rangenmühle was in the Fraisch district of the Eichstättian Oberamt Wahrberg-Herrieden . There was an estate at the end of the 18th century. This had the caste office Herrieden as landlord . The mill building was given house no. 12 of the village of Reichenau.

With the community edict (early 19th century) Rangenmühle was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Sachsbach . After 1961 the place is no longer mentioned in the official registers. Today there are no remains of the property.

religion

The Protestants belonged to the parish of St. Georg (Sachsbach) , the Catholics were parish to St. Vitus and Deocar (Herrieden) .
