history
Oberkönigshofen was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . The village and township government and the manorial system had the stewardship Waizendorf held. Towards the end of the 18th century there were 5 properties (1 sheep farm, 2 half sheep farms, 2 half farms) and a community shepherd's house. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .
As a result of the community edict, Oberkönigshofen was assigned to the tax district and rural community of Unterkönigshofen , which was formed in 1809 . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Oberkönigshofen was incorporated into Bechhofen on July 1, 1971.
