Rottnersdorf is a district of the market Bechhofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria ).

geography

The wasteland lies on the Mühlgraben, which is a right tributary of the Wieseth . To the south of the village is the Rottnersdorfer Mühlweiher. The Kessel corridor area borders in the east, and the Brandlach forest area is approx. 0.5 km southeast. A community road leads to the state road 2220 near Bechhofen (0.8 km west) or to Birkach to the district road AN 54 (1.3 km south).

history

The place was originally called "Rottmannsdorf". From the place name one can conclude that it was originally a settlement consisting of several houses. In 1444 there was only talk of a mill estate. Heinrich von Lentersheim sold this and its pond to Friz von Holzingen zu Wiesethbruck , who in turn sold it to the Heilsbronn monastery in 1458 .

Rottnersdorf was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . Towards the end of the 18th century the place consisted of 2 properties (1 mill with a hammer mill, 1 yard). The landlord was the Waizendorf administration office in Ansbach . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

As a result of the community edict, Rottnersdorf was assigned to the tax district and rural community formed in 1809 Unterkönigshofen . In 1818 the place came to the newly formed rural community Birkach (renamed Heinersdorf in 1870 ). As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Rottnersdorf was incorporated into Bechhofen on July 1, 1971.
