Selingsdorf is a district of the market Bechhofen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is located on the southern slope of the Altmühltal . The Burgerwald borders in the southeast, approx. 0.5 km northwest lies the Buckelwiesen, approx. 0.75 km west the Wannenfeld and approx. 0.5 km south the corridor area Eisen. Two communal roads each lead to the district road AN 55 (0.2 km north and 0.4 km east) between Thann (1.2 km east) and Winn (1 km west). A community connecting road continues to another community connecting road (0.5 km west), which leads to Kallert (0.4 km south) or to the AN 55 (0.5 km north).

history

Selingsdorf was in the Fraisch district of the Eichstättischen Oberamt Wahrberg-Herrieden . At the end of the 18th century, the place consisted of 8 properties. The landlords were the Kastenamt Herrieden (5 properties) and the manor Thann (3 properties).

With the community edict (early 19th century) Selingsdorf became the tax district Sachsbach and the rural community Kaudorf . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Selingsdorf was incorporated into Bechhofen on July 1, 1971.
