Gastenfelden is a residential area in the Bechhofen market in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria ).

geography

The former hamlet has now opened up as Gastenfeldener Strasse in the Bechhofen district. In the north lies the Neuholz forest area .

history

In 1287 Wolfram, curator of the church in Feuchtwangen, donated goods to the Heilsbronn monastery in Gastenfelden. Erkinger von Reichenau sold in 1335 to the monastery a. a. a good in Gastenfelden.

Gastenfelden was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of two courtyards with three teams. Both properties had the administrative office of Waizendorf as landlord . Towards the end of the 18th century there were still three subject families. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Gastenfelden was assigned to the tax district and rural community of Bechhofen .

The place has been Protestant since the Reformation and is parish to St. Johannis (Bechhofen) . The inhabitants of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish according to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Bechhofen) .
