history

According to the 16-point report of the Principality of Ansbach from 1684, Kleinried belonged to the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach . The village and community rulership was exercised jointly by the Eichstatt provost office of Herrieden and the gentlemen from Crailsheim zu Sommersdorf . The Hofkastenamt was the landlord for one and a half days of Wiesen's work.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were twelve households in the village, six of which were subordinate to the Herrieden provost's office and six to the Sommersdorf manor. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Kleinried was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Großenried . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , this was incorporated into Bechhofen on July 1, 1971.
