Opfenried is a part of the municipality of Röckingen in the district of Ansbach ( Middle Franconia ).
geography
The Ganswasengraben, which is a left tributary of the Wörnitz , rises near the village . Immediately to the northeast, the Uhlagraben flows past, which is also in the left tributary of the Wörnitz. Opfenrieder Hölzlein is in the northeast. Otherwise the place is surrounded by arable land and grassland. In the west the corridor is called Hohnbuck. In the south, on Brechhausweg, there is a tree that is protected as a natural monument. A community road leads to Röckingen to the district road AN 47 (1.3 km northwest) or to Wassertrüdingen to the state road 2218 (0.9 km east). Another communal road also leads to St 2218 (0.5 km south).
history
Opfenried was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . The village and community rulership was held by the Ansbach administration office in Röckingen . Towards the end of the 18th century there were 25 properties and a community shepherd's house in Opfenried. Were landlords
