Hardhof was a district of the community Röckingen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet was at an altitude of 434  m above sea level. NHN and was immediately surrounded by pastures, which were connected to arable land. In the east the field was called Haard Hinterfeld , in the south Unterfeld , in the east Lellenbuck and in the north Buck am Holz . The Haardholz (also called Loh ) was 200 meters east of the Hardhof. The field names Holzbuck and Lohe have been preserved to this day. There are no more remains of the place itself.

history

Hardhof was first mentioned in a document in the Würzburg Lehenbuch from 1303. Konrad von Nordenberg was enfeoffed with the tithe at this time . From 1399 to 1666 Barons von Seckendorff owned the court. With the death of Martin and Wolf Christopher von Seckendorff, the court fell back to the Würzburg monastery. On December 25, 1666, this sold the Hardhof as a freelance to the Würzburg Juliusspital . On February 20, 1739 the farm was sold to the Röckingen administration office in Ansbach .

Hardhof was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . At the end of the 18th century there were three properties (1 half courtyard, 2 quarter courtyards). The basic rule held the stewardship Röckingen. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

As a result of the community edict, Hardhof was assigned to the tax district formed in 1809 and the Röckingen rural community . The three properties were given house numbers 148 to 150 in the town of Röckingen.

After 1867 Hardhof is no longer run as a district. It was probably already deserted by then.
