Gugelmühle is a part of the municipality Röckingen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Wörnitz . The place is immediately surrounded by arable land and grassland. In the west the field is called Eichach, in the east Au and forest meadows. Approx. The Hohnbuck rises 1 km to the north. In the south, across the Wörnitz, lies the Dornstadt-Linkersbaindt forest . The Dürrenbuck ( 495 m above sea level ) and the Hirschenbuck ( 489 m above sea level ) rise from the wooded hill . A local road leads to State Road 2218 (0.2 km north), which runs to Wassertrüdingen (2.7 km east) and Gerolfingen (4 km north-west).

history

Gugelmühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . Towards the end of the 18th century there was a subject family. The landlord was the caste office Wassertrüdingen . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

As a result of the community edict, Gugelmühle was assigned to the tax district formed in 1809 and the Röckingen rural community .
