Kussenhof is a district of the municipality Ehingen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Moosgraben, which is a left tributary of the Lentersheimer Mühlbach , which in turn is a left tributary of the Wörnitz . Immediately to the east of the village, this feeds the Klarweiher. The northern part of the pond and the Moosgraben are designated as a nature reserve . Approx. The hardwood forest area is 0.5 km to the west. A communal road leads to Klarhof (0.8 km southeast).

history

Kussenhof was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen . Towards the end of the 18th century the place consisted of two half courtyards. The landlord of the two properties was the caste office Wassertrüdingen . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

As a result of the community edict, Kussenhof was assigned to the tax district formed in 1809 and the rural community of Lentersheim . As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Kussenhof was incorporated into Ehingen on May 1, 1978.
