history

The Fraisch over the Neumühle was claimed by both the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl . The landlord was the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl. Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom .

With the community edict in 1809 Neumühle was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Dentlein ( Feuchtwangen district court ). In 1813 it was handed over to the Wassertrüdingen district court and assigned to the tax district and rural community of Oberkemmathen (renamed Langfurth in 1968).

Former architectural monument

  • A predecessor of the former mill was erected as a fulling mill shortly before 1535. The successor building was a two-storey residential and mill building as a massive plastered building, probably from 1794. On the eaves side there were six ground floor windows. Above the arched entrance there was a sandstone relief: Mill wheel held by Löwen marked “1794”.
