In 1818 there was the municipal community of Oettingen and a rural community in the city sub-court of Oettingen:

  • Oettingen with Fürfallmühle and Siegenhofen
  • Nittingen with Bettendorf and Seehof

In 1818 there were 3693 inhabitants in the city sub-court of Oettingen, who were divided into 641 families and lived in 622 properties.

In 1823 the Oettingen city and lordship court was formed from the Oettingen lordship courts on this side of the Wörnitz (without Aufkirchen) and Oettingen beyond the Wörnitz and the Oettingen city lower court. It consisted of 1 municipal community and 20 rural communities . In 1839 the Oettingen City and Dominion Court had 11678 residents with 2566 families and 1906 properties.

In 1848 it was converted into a judicial and police authority, and finally in 1852 into the district court of Oettingen .
