District Court Wemding

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The district court of Wemding was an older Bavarian district court based in Wemding in what is now the Donau-Ries district .

Due to the size of the Monheim Regional Court, an application was made to form the Wemding Regional Court, which was approved on August 26, 1834. The district court originally belonged to the Rezatkreis , from 1838 to the administrative district of Swabia and Neuburg . It consisted of 1 urban and 10 rural communities:

In 1852 it was 2,548 square miles . There were 12 communities (Ronheim has become independent) with a total of 6978 inhabitants with 2171 buildings. It bordered the Monheim Regional Court in the east, the Donauwörth Regional Court in the south, the Nördlingen Regional Court , the Wallerstein Regional Court and the Oettingen Regional Court in the west and the Heidenheim Regional Court in the north . In 1862 all municipalities were again incorporated into the Monheim Regional Court with the exception of Amerbach and Laub, which came to the Oettingen Regional Court.
