history

After the population had fallen sharply during the Thirty Years' War , the repopulation was probably not least due to the Austrian exiles who settled in the area.

The Fraisch over Fürnheim was controversial. It was claimed by both the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen and the Oberamt Aufkirchen in Oettingen-Spielberg . The village and community rule was disputed between the Ansbach administrative office Röckingen and the Oberamt Aufkirchen. At the end of the 18th century there were 39 properties in Fürnheim. There was also a hunter's house, a church, a parsonage, a schoolhouse and a community pastor's house. Were landlords

The municipality of Fürnheim was under the administration and jurisdiction of the media sub-court Aufkirchen and the financial administration of the Oettingen Rent Office (from 1850 to 1919 Wassertrüdingen Rent Office, renamed Wassertrüdingen Tax Office in 1919 , Gunzenhausen Tax Office 1932–1973 , Ansbach Tax Office since 1973 ). In 1819 the administration and jurisdiction was transferred to the Oettingen Lordship Court on this side of the Wörnitz , from 1820 to 1848 the Mönchsroth Lordship Court was responsible, which was converted into a court and police authority in 1848, which expired in 1850. From 1850 to 1879 jurisdiction lay with the District Court of Wassertrüdingen, from 1879 to 1956 the District Court of Wassertrüdingen was responsible, from 1956 to 1970 the District Court of Gunzenhausen and from 1970 to 1973 the District Court of Dinkelsbühl , which has been a branch of the District Court of Ansbach since 1973 . The administration was taken over by the newly created Dinkelsbühl district office in 1862 (renamed the Dinkelsbühl district in 1938 ). With the dissolution of the Dinkelsbühl district in 1972, Fürnheim came to the Ansbach district. In 1961 the municipality had an area of 7.131 km². In the course of the territorial reform , this was incorporated into Wassertrüdingen on May 1, 1978.
