history

The Fraisch over Himmerstall was controversial. It was claimed by both the Ansbach Oberamt Wassertrüdingen and the Oberamt Aufkirchen in Oettingen-Spielberg . The imperial city of Dinkelsbühl wanted to assert them on their estates. The place did not have a congregation ruler. Towards the end of the 18th century, the place consisted of six properties and a community shepherd's and shepherd's house. The landlords were the Ansbach administration office Röckingen (1 yard), the principality of Oettingen-Spielberg ( administration office Dornstadt : 1 yard; Catholic Oberamt Oettingen : 2 yards, 1 small house) and the hospital of the imperial city Dinkelsbühl (1 estate).

As a result of the community edict, Himmerstall was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Fürnheim in 1809 . In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , Himmerstall was incorporated into Wassertrüdingen on May 1, 1978.
