Hetzeberg is a small settlement belonging to the Ettenhausen an der Suhl district of the city of Bad Salzungen in the Wartburg district of Thuringia .

location

Hetzeberg is located on the mountain of the same name , about one kilometer south of Ettenhausen and about 6.5 kilometers (as the crow flies) northwest of the city center.

history

Around 1225, Heizzil's farm belonged to the Fulda monastery . Later the Hezils farm was owned by the Frankensteiners , who sold it to Henneberg in 1330 . In 1754 Hetzeberg belonged to the Frauensee office .
