Hikmet Hayri Anlı
Hikmet Hayri Anlı (* 1906 in Manisa ; † February 20, 1991 in Istanbul ) was a Turkish ambassador .
Life
He was married to Semahat. He graduated from the American Collegiate Institute and studied law at Istanbul University . On December 26, 1932, he entered the foreign service. From June 26, 1933 he was used in the Turkish armed forces . On August 4, 1939, he became first-class legation secretary in Tallinn . In 1943 he was first-class legation secretary in London . From October 21, 1943 to February 5, 1946 he was Consul General in Bombay .
From March 30, 1954 to September 28, 1957 he was Chargé d'affaires in Taipei . From October 29, 1957 to April 1, 1960 he was Consul General in New York City .
From July 1960 to December 14, 1963 he was ambassador to Seoul .
From 1967 to 1970 he was ambassador to Bangkok . On June 25, 1969, he was accredited as the first ambassador to Singapore . On September 23, 1969 he was accredited at Nguyễn Văn Thiệu in Saigon . He was also accredited in Kuala Lumpur ( Malaysia ), based in Bangkok .
In 1971 he was ambassador to Accra and was also accredited in Freetown ( Sierra Leone ).
